Drain Repairs & Patch Lining

No-dig localised repair, replacement and full reinstatement options.

Repairs matched to what the survey found

Butler Bros repairs damaged drains across Teesside and the wider North East, from no-dig patch lining of local defects to full excavation and replacement where the pipe is beyond repair. Every recommendation starts from evidence, usually a CCTV survey.

Already have a survey? Send it with your enquiry. If not, we can survey the drain first so the repair is priced on what is actually there.

Defects we repair

  • Cracked or fractured pipes
  • Displaced or open joints
  • Root ingress through defects
  • Local collapses and deformation
  • Poorly made connections
  • Leaking drains affecting structures

No-dig or excavation

Patch lining seals a local defect from inside the pipe without digging, which keeps disruption and reinstatement to a minimum. Where a pipe has collapsed or is too damaged to line, we excavate, replace the affected section and reinstate the surface.

After the repair

We can re-survey the drain to confirm the repair and give you the footage and completion notes for your records. Commercial clients receive job evidence and close-out information.

Drain repair FAQ

Useful answers before you book.

A no-dig repair where a resin-impregnated liner is placed over a local defect inside the pipe and cured in place, sealing the damaged section.

Usually, yes. A survey shows the type, position and extent of the defect so the right repair can be chosen and priced.

When a pipe has collapsed, is badly deformed or the defect cannot be lined. We excavate, replace the section and reinstate the surface.

Yes. Excavated repairs include reinstatement, and our civils team handles groundworks and surfaces.
